Picking live entertainment for an event got me thinking about some great artists I have seen recently. Gotye at the Greek Theatre was the perfect way to spend an evening in LA and may be just the perfect artist for some chilled sounds at the Be. Launch party.

Match the Moment
I am so excited to share this news with you and just in time for the party season.
I recently recieved an email asking me to to be one of six bloggers in the Be. Blogger competition. Be. Wines are soon to be launched in Australia, with three varieties to Match the Moment; Be Breezy - Rose, Be Fresh - Sauvignon Blanc, Be Luscious - Moscato.
There are six bloggers and only one will have the opportunity to host the Be. launch party. So, I could be seeing my party plans come to life in Sydney in late November if im the winner of this challenge. I will be creating moodboards on Pinterest, to bring the theme Be. Breezy to life. Specifically to visually represent the Decor, Food and Entertainment.
Want to know more about Be. Wines and how to match your moment? Visit them on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.
What would you like to see at the launch party? Tweet me, Facebook me or comment below.
Stay tuned as the party plans unfold.
Paradise Frontier
WISH, a brand that I have grown up with and has always been a easy go-to when needing a party dress have launched the new collection 'Paradise Frontier' which was beautifully photographed in the Australian outback. Relaxed printed pants, an embroidered tasseled skirt or the perfect dresses for the party season ahead, the pieces evoke fun.
This collection is one that left me excited about the summer days ahead. Here's my favourite pieces, i fell in love with at the launch.
I cant wait to see what the summer days behold... Xx
Summer Screams Colour
The sun is shining here in the land of oz and all I can think about wearing is bright coloured accessories. Which got me thinking about some of the things I wore whilst in New York at Fashion Week.
It's hit our shores

Sydney, Australia has finally been hit by the TOPSHOP bandwagon. With four levels of both affordable and stylish goodness, Sydneysiders will now have fast access to womens clothing, footwear and accessories. And boys, dont worry TOPMAN is on the top level of the store.

Shopping in Los Angeles
I am back in Australia and writing from home. The month of September was a whirlwind or should I say a fashion tornado as I travelled and attended both NYFW and VFW. I have many more stories to share and here is one to start.
When in LA, its time to shop like a local! A visit to a large market with vendors selling vintage clothing, pre-owned furniture and accessories will have you overwhelmed with either too many purchases of vintage t-shirts or a the purchase of a statement industrial light fitting that you have no idea how you will get it on the flight back to Australia. Either way, a nice stroll outside browsing the numerous stalls is a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
Visit the markets on the corner of Melrose x Fairfax if your in LA. You may find a hidden gem or preloved beauty that will be adorned in your wardrobe. Or a cool light fitting that you keep dreaming of long after your visit.
A walk through KIN Los Angeles and you will feel as though you have found the wardrobe of the coolest people you know. From Camilla Skogaard heels, Barbara Bui skirts and Vivienne Westwood jewelery this is a one stop spot to add some instant cool to your look.
Whilst instore the KIN crew were preparing for a photoshoot the following day, and I was able to get a sneek peek at a few amazing pieces.
Visit the KIN store on 8555 W. Sunset Blvd, WEST HOLLYWOOD or better yet right now online

Boutiques
Whilst in LA I came across many small boutique stores with a great aesthetic and an amazing collection of pieces to shop.A walk through KIN Los Angeles and you will feel as though you have found the wardrobe of the coolest people you know. The last stop...
Thirty six hours in Los Angeles to enjoy the West Hollywood sun, shopping and a quick Mani+Pedi. Poolside was the perfect place to catch up on some reading before jetting back to Australia.
Poolside at the Standard Hotel with my essentials.

Wandering gardens
A sleep-in and a morning juice, I was set to wander West Hollywood's pedestrian-less streets in search for the exciting that you may not find in a tourists guide. A walk through a side street of Madison Ave and I had found a beautiful, quaint street with a tree shaded side walk and sweet garden flowers. And behold.... It was Chloe and Oscar De La Renta!
A random stroll has allowed me to find hidden and sometimes not so hidden gems that I would otherwise not been able to visit, enjoy and create memories.
This may have just captured the moment I fell in LOVE with L.A.

Turning Japanese
The location of Vancouver Fashion Week was adjacent to the Japanese Gardens and what a place to take a few pics. I love a great pair of boots, these are tan leather and bring the festival cool to any look. My watch became one of my favourite pieces in my suitcase that I wore as a staple to almost every outfit. A printed dress and blazer work well to add some colour.

Spring/Summer 2013
Vancouver Fashion Week
A combination of prints, sheers and solid colours were beautifully presented in the designs of Xsenia & Olya. A feeling of summer just around the corner was evoked and I just wanted to enjoy a cocktail overlooking the Bondi Beach in one of these great dresses. The tailored jackets brought a chic glamour to your office look and the sheer over dress could easily be worn throighout summer in many ways. From a beach cover up to as worn on the runway layering your garments creating astyle of your own.
This collection had a versatile range of pieces with many personalities in each garment. Printed leggings with a solid colour back were nicely paired with a white button up and I envision these on a Sunday evening out with the girls. This collection has such a positive vibe and many pieces I can see easily transfered from the runway to your everyday wardrobe.
