As I read my morning emails, I became aware of Anna Piaggi's passing at age 81 in the news reports. She was one of fashions style icons and I remember her being my muse for an assignment a few years ago. Her style was eccentric, bold, colourful and showcased many great hats by milliner Stephen Jones. Collaborating with Karl Lagerfield and working with Italian Vogue, were just some of her fashion workings. But her style is what the fashion world will remember. A woman who was confident in what she wore and pushed the boundaries of style.
